NT Scan
I had my NT scan today & it went wonderfully. I was really nervous going into scan as it was same scan we learned of no HB last time, but was definitely relieved to see a growing baby! Baby measured exactly 12w5d and had a heartbeat of 165 bpm. Baby was jumping & moving all over the place, it was so cute! We even got to see the baby in 3D/4D! Amazing seeing those features, makes this that much more real! We even saw the 2 sides of the brain!! Anyways here are the pictures :)

Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog online and I couldn't help but read it because I am going through my first IVF cycle right now. I am at the point where I am going every other day for ultrasounds and bloodwork. I am just waiting for them to tell me the egg retrieval day. I feel like it may be Monday. Anyways, I was wondering how many eggs you transfered and on what day your transfer was. This seems to be stressing me out the most! I so badly want a positive but my husband is really stressing about twins. I am hoping for a day 5 but if it's a day 2 or 3 I can't help but feel like I would want to put 2 embryos in. What's your thoughts?
Hi Jessica - Thanks for reading my blog, I have lots of posts about my egg retrievals and transfers, feel free to check them out. But I transferred 2 embryos on Day 3, we had the option of transferring a 3rd but decided to try to let it freeze (which it didn't). But you have to think like if I did 2, would I be okay with twins? We were. Only 1 stuck and that's great. You could transfer 1, 2 or 3 and not even have any stick, ya know. Either way you're taking a risk, but it's a risk well worth taking. I wish you luck and hope you have a great retrieval! But, it's a decision you have to think about on all counts.
